Apologetics Study Bible

biblegiveawayMultiple research studies have shown that spiritual focus often weakens among teenagers as they head into the attention-dividing realm of young adulthood.  Up to 66 percent of them leave church altogether.  The Apologetics Study Bible for Students HCSB works against that trend by helping anchor younger Christians in the truths of Scripture, equipping them with thoughtful and practical responses for whenever the core issues of their faith and life are challenged, while helping them better articulate their beliefs with non-believers.

Some Special Features of the Bible: – Book Introductions for each of the sixty-six books of the Bible. – Study Notes provide evidence of the reliability and truthfulness of Scripture. – 120 Articles written by today’s leading Christian thinkers dealing with life’s ultimate questions. – 60 Twisted Scriptures address ways that various religious movements distort Scripture to support doctrine contrary to historic Christian teaching.

Also, this summer, the gift of Confident Faith is being celebrated with 16 brand new, but energetic and brief videos featuring Sean McDowell, free resources like Bible studies and articles as well as wonderful specials on apps and Bibles.  There are new resources every week – a full 16 weeks of resources when it is all done.
Confident Faith Sweepstakes is being offered to give away Bibles, free mini libraries of B&H’s best apologetics resources and even a trip for two to the National Conference on Christian Apologetics (NCCA) being held October 16-17, 2015 in Charlotte, NC where some of the world’s leading thinkers will offer insights and teaching.
Bible2My 16 yr old and I really like this bible!  We are living in really hard times as far as faith is concerned.  It is not enough to just tell people about Jesus anymore, people want to hear the evidence to support HIM.   This bible asks and answers the tough questions such as:

  • What are worldviews, and why are they important?
  • How old is the earth?
  • What is evolution?
  • Can I trust the Old Testament?
  • Why does God allow evil?

Some of the contributors are:  Sean McDowell, Greg Stier, Alison Thomas, Dan Kimball and more than 45 others! The bible has color coded place markers (black for OT and red for the NT) and there are beautiful pages throughout with a few illustrations like in the above pic and special challenge questions throughout!  There is a great introduction page for every book of the bible that tells you exactly what you are about to read about and the history leading up to it!  This is a perfect bible for your teen to help them study in more depth and understand exactly what they believe.  I love this bible too so you cannot be too old to really enjoy it and to really learn from it!  This is a must for every family library! You can buy your own Apologetics Bible at Lifeway for 22.99
