bde7a8c1-79d4-4757-9d93-c0ec7a351590I love to see the new way people are journaling their bibles!  They are so colorful and beautiful and a wonderful way to get even more excited about the Word of God!  This is also a great thing to start doing with your children if they are older, they will love it!

Recently I was sent The ESV Journaling Bible and it is so nice!  It comes in a beautiful box and has a soft cloth like cover!  It has flowers on the cover with a nice blue in the background which gives it a great design!  The pages inside give you plenty of room to journal on the side and yet the writing of God’s World is  not too small!  You can just journal words or thoughts or could full on decorate the pages, truly whatever your preferences are!  This would make a wonderful Christmas gift!

The ESV Journaling Bible provides the perfect way for you to keep a journal of your spiritual life right inside the Bible that you read and study each day.  With covers and formats that look like the finest journals, the Journaling Bible features two-inch ruled margins for writing observations, reflections, prayers, praises, notes, and journal entries.  This unique Bible makes a great gift and lasting keepsake for anyone who values God’s Word.

Thank you for this giveaway. I have been journaling in a notebook as of late, but if I were to have this Bible I would be able to have all my notes in one place. It would also make a great gift for my sister in law.

I have been writing in my Bibles for decades. I journal, I scribble, I make notes. I write in the margins. So yes, journaling is an important aspect of my Bible study time. 🙂

I love reading your pages & posts! My husband and I have 3 children ages 7 & under, so life is a little crazy & your ideas are helpful!
For devotion time through the past few years I have been following along with WomenLivingWell & Courtney Proverbs 31 woman groups. I have been reading & studying my bible that was a gift from my grandmother & journaling in a notebook. I would love to be able to journal through scripture in one organized book! Thank you for sharing with us!

I like to underline passages in different colored pencil. I have categories that I use. But I also try to write notes in the margins. Unfortunately there is not enough room to make any kind of notes so I’ve always wanted a Bible with bigger margins.

I don’t journal so much as I make notations and highlight and underline. My bible has a lot of markings in it:)

Over the years I have done different things in different Bibles. From taking notes, highlighting different things, etc. I have usually kept my journaling seperate because there hasn’t been room in the margins – until now! 🙂

I’ve never considered what I do as “journaling,” but I suppose it is. I’ve always highlighted or marked passages that stood out to me along with a personal note. It helps me focus as I read it, & I enjoy seeing it when I reference that passage again. I inherited my grandmother’s Bible & she did the same, it is one of my most prized possessions.

No I do not currently journal in my Bible. It doesn’t have room kin the margin to do so. I do highlight in it and take notes in a separate book.
